Psychotherapy

The psychological interventions I offer are primarily concerned with reducing symptoms and improving quality of life and cognitive functioning. My therapeutic approach is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy and neuropsychology. I strive to offer the strongest empirically supported psychotherapeutic treatments for my clients.

Therapy is offered in-person in Frankfurt am Main as well as virtually (online). My psychotherapeutic work with individuals has been primarily concerned with:

• Depression and low mood

• Anxiety

• Burnout and career difficulties

• Adjustment to change

• Culture shock

• Concentration/memory/attention problems

• Interpersonal relationships

• Stress

• Pain

Coaching

I also provide services that are not strictly medical in nature. For example, career advice or help preparing applications to USA government agencies. Note that coaching sessions are not reimbursed by health insurance and must be self-paid.

Coaching session (50 minutes): 130.00 euro + 19% VAT

Neuropsychological Evaluations

A neuropsychological evaluation may be helpful for diagnostic, treatment, and/or documentation purposes. An evaluation by a psychologist may be required for specific government services (e.g., disability or learning accommodation) or for legal situations (e.g., documenting cognitive symptoms after injury). Especially in the case of ambiguous symptoms or unclear etiology, a medical or mental health provider may insist upon a standardized evaluation of cognitive function (e.g., ADHD/ADHS).

The cost for an evaluation depends on patient specific factors as these influence the total time required. Contact me to discuss anticipated costs.
